Hello Gorgeous (That's you)!
Today I had a few spare minutes to share some lovely experiences I've had this year, and they are so good, I have to share.
Connection
This year I have had brunch with a group of friends every Saturday morning. We've formed such a strong bond between the six of us. The power we have all had from this friendship circle has been lovely to experience. We've all pushed each other gently with some fabulous positive personal growth. May it have been career, financial, health, fitness, friendships, celebrations, and new experiences. With the power of a strong positive group, the best things happen. We all have different backgrounds, but all bounce off each other's energy and create JOY.
Also, we know the best cafes in Brisbane, we've tried them all.
Career
I've been lucky enough to move to a new company this year, showing me just how valuable I am. The positivity of the group, the culture, feels like family, and it's glorious. Yes, we love a long lunch, but we also work incredibly hard for our clients. I've also been elevated to a Team leader role this year, and the benefits of working with a tight-knit team allows for the work to feel EASY.
I'm very excited about the direction of my career.
Volunteering
2021 I was really able to see the outcomes of my hard work. May it have been hosting a 5-week leadership course for 65 Scouts online, or may it be being the secretary of the Brisbane Pride Choir, I was able to see my efforts have a huge impact.
I also got to help create art at QAGOMA. What an incredible institution.
Love
Year two with boo. Yes, we may have started the year in a lesbian bar in Adelaide and plan on finishing at a gay music festival, but we wouldn't have it anyway, babe. You are incredible! Memories include our adventure to Stradbroke Island, dancing at your friend's weddings, and waking up every day with you next to me.
Thank you for being my personal chef.
Connection
My relationships with the people are why I've had these vibrant experiences this year. Let's create more magic moments! People are the reason you are alive, and every time you connect with them, you create a moment that you have the power to make magical.
You can have a magic moment today by calling a friend of yours and making a friendship date at the cutest cafe near them.
Wishing you, my friend (yes, you are reading this), the most amazing day today and let your adventures be art.
